The American-born Palestine footballer knows a victory against Jordan in their last Group Match is very important.

Palestine lost 3-0 against Australia in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

And with that, the team is at the bottom of Group B, as they take on Jordan in the last match of the Group Stage.

“We’re in with a chance,” said Palestine forward Nathmi Albadawi to Ghana Soccernet.

Qatar will plan soon how to aim higher

The Qatari national team won the AFC Asian Cup for the first time ever, but the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosts don't want it to end there.

“Today is about recovering and then it’s onwards towards Jordan.”

“They’ve had a great start, they have six points and two wins over Australia and Syria, and that’s not what a lot of people expected,” he added

“Now we have to come out flying against Jordan and we need a win, nothing else is acceptable.”

“We need a win and I think we’ll advance either as second or third. Hopefully, we can pull off a win and see what happens after that,” he commented.
