The goalkeeper will be presented tomorrow as the new Blaugrana stopper, and he gave his first impressions of being at a club like that.
29-year-old goalkeeper Neto played for Valencia from 2017 to 2019.
And he has just left the Bats to join current Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.
His first words were in Calatan, as he wants to prove he will be a loyal player for the club.
“I’m Neto, I’m here, come on Barca,” Neto said according to Marca.
“It’s an adventure, a new possibility in my career, I’m happy and ready to start working hard.”
He explained: “When you come to a club like Barcelona you think about winning it all.”
“I’m a winner, I like to win everything I do, I think that it fits well with this club and my characteristics.”
“All children have the dream of being footballers, playing for Barcelona is a dream,” he concluded.
Neto started playing professionally ten years ago with Atletico Paranaense in his native Brazil.
He then moved to Fiorentina in 2011, and then to Juventus in 2015.
He played for the first time in La Liga in 2017, and now he has the opportunity to become one of the best.
