News: Neymar is going to court again


Neymar will be hauled in front of a judge again. This time for the Rennes fan incident.

According to ESPN, the Rennes supporter who was hit in the face by Neymar, last season is now suing the Brazilian superstar.

Following Paris Saint-Germain’s French Cup finals loss to Rennes. Neymar had an altercation with an opposing fan.

Neymar appeared to slap the fan. As a result, the fan is now suing him. He has filed a law-suit against the PSG man.

The Lawyer, Philippe Ohayon, who represents the claimant, said to L’Equipe :

“My client, whose identity has not been revealed, decided to take legal action.”

This comes after a meeting between members of Neymar’s entourage and my client failed to ease tensions.”

Ohayon was not immediately available for further comment.

The French Football Association, have already punished the player with a three-match ban, as a result of the incident.

The game at the Stade de France ended in a Rennes victory. After a 2-2 the game went to penalties, in which PSG lost 5-6.

Neymar reacted violently after being goaded by the fan after receiving a runner up medal.

This bad news follows some better news after a judge in his native Brazil, officially threw out the rape case against the player. It was deemed to be due to a lack of evidence.

Neymar, who was stripped of his national team’s captaincy, has been out injured of late.

He finally joined up with his team PSG and started training this week. He was injured on international duty with Brazil this summer. He has not featured in any of Paris’s preseason.

With the first game of Ligue1 coming up this weekend, it remains to be seen if he will be fit to play.

Neymar has been a prominent fixture in the gossip columns this summer. Being linked with moves away from PSG, to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

It remains to be seen if he will play for PSG again.
