Neymar insists Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo have a great future ahead of them.
Real Madrid decided to show faith in their younger players after refusing to sign a like-to-like replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo after his departure.
And their decision is starting to pay dividends as Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes have been impressing the fans with their performances. Between themselves, the pair have scored eight goals for Real Madrid so far in all competitions while continuing to up their gears.
Neymar feels there is a lot more to come from his Brazil teammates. Neymar also praised the duo for being able to quickly adapt to Real Madrid’s pressure inflicting environment while backing them for a bright future.
“They’re two players with a lot of quality,” Neymar was quoted by Marca.
“They’ve only been around for a short time. But they’re going to earn a lot of experience and mature a little more and be much better than they are right now.
“They want them to play in all the competitions. But adaptation is difficult.
“It’s difficult to arrive at that level and play at that level at clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona. But both these players are managing to do this.”
