The PSG superstar has become the highest-scoring Brazilian footballer in the history of the UEFA Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr. continues to break records at the French Ligue 1 club.

Now, after scoring the second goal of the night for PSG against Liverpool, he has become the highest-scoring Brazilian in the UEFA Champions League.

According to data by The Daily Mail, the previous record was held by Kaká, who scored goals in the UCL for AC Milan and Real Madrid.

He was followed by Rivaldo who scored 27 goals in 73 games with Barcelona, the Rossoneri, and others.

But Neymar’s record is great since he has scored 31 goals in just 52 matches, 34 less than what Kaká needed to set his record.

  • Neymar – 52 games. 31 goals. 22 assists.
  • Kaká – 86 games. 30 goals. 25 assists.
  • Rivaldo – 73 games. 27 goals. 11 assists.
