Neymar is extraordinary, but…: Pep Guardiola

The former Barcelona manager believes the Brazilian is one of the best footballers in the world, but he lacks a lot of things to be the best.

Pep Guardiola and Neymar shared the Barcelona locker room for some years.

And the current Manchester City boss believes the Brazilian is one of the greatest of all time… but there’s something that hasn’t let him be the best.

“Neymar is an extraordinary player, but I don’t know. It’s the same as if I came back. Would it be the same?” Guardiola said according to Sport.

“I’m not the same person now and I’m not sure if Neymar is either. But he’s very good, nobody doubts that.”

“They’ve probably dropped a little deeper than in our era. We were crazy and pushed everybody forward,” Guardiola continued.
