Neymar wants to cause ‘havoc’ with Eden Hazard

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar revealed a desire to play alongside Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and cause “havoc” one day.

Incidentally, both forwards have been linked with moves to Real Madrid for over the past year.

Out of the two, it appears Hazard is more likely one to make the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. The Belgian is out of contract at Chelsea in June 2020 and has refused to sign a renewal.

Therefore, Chelsea will likely either sell Hazard in the upcoming transfer window or allow him to leave for nothing next year.

And Neymar, who has been linked with Real pretty much ever since he first set foot in Paris during the summer of 2017, would love to play alongside Hazard.

“I would like to play with Hazard. He has a style similar to mine,” the Brazilian told Fox Sports.

“I think I could give it a try. We would cause havoc together!”

Neymar returned to action for PSG during last Sunday’s 3-1 Ligue 1 win over AS Monaco. He had been sidelined for nearly three months with a foot injury.

The 27-year-old will be eyeing up more game time in PSG’s final six games of the season, starting with tonight’s Coupe de France final.

Gaining as much time on the pitch as possible is crucial for Neymar if he’s to return to full fitness for Brazil’s 2019 Copa America campaign.

The five-time world champions will host the tournament this summer, where they hope to claim glory for the first time in 12 years.

And Neymar, who comes from Sao Paulo and started out at Santos, revealed a desire to return to his homeland one day.

“I think [I’d play for] Flamengo. The fans … I want to feel what’s like to play for Flamengo, play in the Maracana,” he said.

“I love Santos too. When I go back to Brazil, I’ll have to play for Santos again.”
