The Paris Saint-Germain footballer did not show to the first training session of the 2019-2020 French Ligue 1 season.
The Neymar soap opera has a new chapter.
Not only he was injured at the beginning of this year, missing many games with Paris Saint-Germain.
He was also accused of rape by an American model, and then he got injured just before the start of the Copa America tournament, missing the chance to lift the prestigious trophy with Brazil.
And today, in PSG’s first training session ahead of the 2019-2020 French Ligue 1 campaign, he missed the practice and the club might punish him for his indiscipline.
But after the team released a statement condemning Neymar, his father has spoken to explain why he was absent.
“The reason for his absence was known and is scheduled for a year,” Neymar Senior told Olé.
“He is working with the charities we sponsored and that could not be changed, so he will return on July 15.”
“There is no drama, PSG was informed,” he continued saying.
Neymar Jr. was present at Maracana Stadium where he was how Brazil lifted the Copa America title after defeating Peru.
Can’t wait to be back in my new @nikefootball Vapors.
