The Brazilian legend’s son, Joao Mendes, is only 13 years old and was presented by PSG until he was signed by Cruzeiro

To be the son of legendary football player Ronaldinho Gaucho must be awesome!

But to play football after your dad awe the whole world in club and international settings would be terrifying.

But this Thursday, Ronaldinho’s son Joao Mendes has signed a contract with Cruzeiro, as was reported by Marca.

“In the last days PSG contacted the player but Cruzeiro accelerated the deal for the striker,” wrote Marca.

Paris Saint-Germain wanted to contract the 13-year-old in their Brasilia school and to flight him to France when he was ready.

But during this week, Joao and his mother traveled to Belo Horizonte to sign with Cruzeiro.

Brazilian law does not allow him to sign any professional contract until he’s 14 years old, and it will be next year when he actually joins the Brazilian team.
