Former Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque believes Mohamed Salah won’t ‘improve’ Real Madrid’s team because Madrid has the best squad in Europe.
He also claims the Liverpool star wouldn’t get a game at the Bernabeu.
‘Real Madrid have a great squad — they are the best club in Europe at the moment and must show that on Saturday,’ said Del Bosque. ‘I don’t see even one Liverpool player who would improve Real Madrid, not even Salah’ according to Metro Uk.
Liverpool will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday and Salah will be a marked man after his incredible season at Anfield. Salah’s scored 44 goals for the Reds this term following his arrival from Roma and he was crowned PFA Player of the Year for his sensational debut campaign. However, Del Bosque claims Madrid have the best squad in Europe and Salah wouldn’t get in their starting XI.
But Madrid star Marcelo thinks otherwise, he says Real can’t afford to concentrate just on Selah alone because the Liverpool has other tough players too.
‘Every game is different and Liverpool aren’t just all about Salah,’ said Marcelo. ‘They’ve also got Firmino and Mane. They’ve got several players who are capable of changing the complexion of a game, particularly in finals, and we’re aware that we can’t afford to focus on one single player.’ He added
