Nuno Espirito expects more from his Wolves side

Nuno Espirito Santo believes his Wolves side still have room for improvement despite their strong start to the season with a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

A Matt Doherty strike secured all three points for newly-promoted Wolves who continued their unbeaten Premier League run to six matches.

The win has seen them climb up to seventh on the log, and Wolves head coach Nuno told Sky Sports: “The standards are high, and we want to repeat them and improve.

“Now it’s the international break which will be a good chance to work on other aspects in the squad so when we return we are strong and if possible even better.”

Zaha explains what his objectives this season are

Crystal Palace star, Wilfried Zaha, reached his 10-goal target last season and he hopes this campaign he can also reach his objective.

Nuno added: “It was a good performance. Not so good at the beginning, we struggled a bit, but the moment we adjusted a few details we got control and the second half was totally ours.

“The boys had to work really hard to try and stop Crystal Palace from finding the spaces they wanted. It was a lot of effort.”

Wolves host Watford after the international break before confronting Brighton on October 27.
