Martin Odegaard is fully committed to Real Sociedad and is planning on honoring his two-year contract with the club.
Martin Odegaard has insisted that he is no hurry to return to his parent club Real Madrid.
After training with Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Arsenal, the Norwegian signed for Los Blancos back in 2015. Since then, Odegard has been spending time away on loan.
However, Odegaard truly rose to stardom following his loan move to Real Sociedad this season. He has been a key player for La Real as they hope of earning a Champions League qualification.
The 21-year old’s sensational form has ignited the talks of his possible return to the Santiago Bernabeu sooner than expected. But, as Marca reports, Odegaard says he is planning to see out the contract at this current club.
“I’m excited about the prospect of the Champions League,” he said.
“Playing against the best teams in the world is something that is great for a player and it’s a dream for me. However, there are some very good teams in the fight like Getafe, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Valencia.
“When people ask if I will be here to play the Champions League I always say that I’m very happy here. The plan is to play for La Real for two years.”
