Therefore, Sanchez’s disappointing two-and-a-half-year spell with United finally ends. He only scored five times in 45 outings since joining in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Arsenal in January 2018.
“Everyone at Manchester United wishes Alexis Sanchez all the best in his future career as he joins Inter Milan on a permanent transfer,” read a United statement.
Now Sanchez has officially moved on, United’s iconic No 7 jersey again is available once again. The current favorite to take it is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who is a top target for the Red Devils this summer.
