Bayern Munich have announced they’ve reached an agreement to sign Benjamin Pavard from VfB Stuttgart at the end of the season
The 22-year-old full-back made a name for himself at the 2018 World Cup in the summer, where his impressive displays helped France on their way to a second world title.
Due to this, Pavard had been linked with moves away from Stuttgart last summer with reports linking him with Bayern growing stronger for the past few months.
Now the club’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed they’ve signed Pavard, who will join them for next season for an undisclosed fee.
“We’ve signed Benjamin Pavard for 1 July 2019. He’s put pen to paper on a five-year contract,” Salihamidzic said on the club website.
