Ante Rebic has officially joined AC Milan, with Andre Silva going the opposite way to Eintracht Frankfurt.
This is a double swap deal. AC Milan will be loaning Andre Silva to Eintracht Frankfurt for two years. Eintracht Frankfurt will be loaning Ante Rebic to AC Milan for two years also.

As was earlier believed that the deals were one-year loans with 25 million Euro options to buy. This has been discounted by official club sources.
“AC Milan (the Club) announces the agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the acquisition of the footballer Ante Rebic on a two-year temporary basis.”
“Born in Split, in Croatia, on September 21, 1993, Rebić made his senior début with RNK Split in 2011.”
“In 2013 he signed for ACF Fiorentina. He then joined Verona and Leipzig before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2016, where he recorded 100 appearances and 25 goals.”
“He scored two of them in the 3-1 victory vs Bayern Munich in the 2018 DFB-Pokal final.”
“Ante Rebić made his senior international début for Croatia in August 2013, vs Liechtenstein.”
“With one goal scored and six caps he has been one of the protagonists of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where Croatia reached the final played in Moscow against France.”
It is thought his Serie A experience was a key part of AC Milans side of the deal.

Eintracht Frankfurts club website eintracht.de, posted an official statement that read:
“André Silva has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a two-year loan deal from Italian Serie A side AC Milan, with the 23-year-old forward penning a deal that will keep him at the club until 30 June 2021.”
Frankfurt board member Fredi Bobic said of the deal:
“Both Ante and Andre have tremendous qualities, but in different areas. Andre is an outright centre-forward.”
“Andre is perfectly suited to our coach’s philosophy.”
“Signing André Silva has seen us take the next step in terms of our transfers.”
“This wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago. We’re delighted to have him and are confident he’ll be able to help us.”
AC Milan is continuing their rebuilding process. Eintracht Frankfurt has been searching for a player worthy of replacing Luka Jovic.
It appears both clubs and players are happy with the all-round deal.
