Borussia Dortmund have completed a deadline day transfer for Emre Can on loan from Juventus.

Juventus have loaned out midfielder Emre Can to German side Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.

Emre Can fell out of favor from the Juve squad upon Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at the start of the season. Sarri also completely deprived Can of Champions League football leaving him out of his squad in each of the six games.

According to our earlier reports, Borussia Dortmund were already working on signing Emre Can. And recently, BVB announced that the deal has gone through.

The German will initially play at the Signal Iduna Park on loan until the end of the season. He will then join Dortmund permanently in June for €25 million if all the set conditions are met.

Upon his reveal, Emre Can expressed his delight at the prospect of wearing the black and yellow shirt for the first time. As per Sky Sports, he said:

“I think the team has great potential and can win something. I am convinced that I can help them and can’t wait to play in front of these fans. For whom Borussia Dortmund is known all over the world, for the first time.”
