The Croatian forward has signed for a three-year deal with the Spanish club after spending one year with AC Milan in Italy
Spanish club Atletico Madrid announced on Thursday the signing of Croatian forward Nikola Kalinic from AC Milan.
The 3-year-long contract was valued at €15 million and was welcome to ‘Atleti’ via a press release on the official website.
“With a great aerial presence (1,87 meters tall), Kalinic is a force to be reckoned with in set pieces and aerial plays. He’s also good at holding up the ball and is great at shooting from a distance,” read the statement.
The 30-year-old striker has played from many teams in the Balkans but was transferred to Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A in 2015.
There he was loaned to AC Milan in 2017-2018 before going to Madrid to play for Atletico.
Nikola Kalinic will join our club on a permanent transfer from @acmilan. Welcome, Nikola!🔴⚪🔴
