Ivan Perisic has completed his loan move from Inter Milan to Bayern Munich.

According to Football-Italia.net, and fcbayern.com, the Croatian international has joined the Bavarian giants on a season-long loan, with a permanent deal to b completed in 2020.

Perisic told the official website:

“I’m very glad to be back in Germany.”

The deal will involve an initial 5 million Euro loan fee, followed by a 20 million Euro transfer fee next year.

This is a far cry from the 50 million Inter were demanding last year.

But the player is no longer wanted by Antonio Conte. And Bayern sees him a replacement fro Robben or Ribery who both left this year.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said of the deal:

“Ivan will help us from the start with his extensive experience at a top international level.”

“He has good technique and he’s flexible in attack.”

“I’m sure Ivan will settle in quickly as he knows both the Bundesliga and our Coach Niko Kovac well.”

Ivan Perisic in his first interview as a Bayern player said:

“I’m very glad to be back in Germany.”

“FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe.”

“We want to go on the attack, not only in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup, but also in the Champions League.”
