Ivan Perisic has completed his loan move from Inter Milan to Bayern Munich.

According to Football-Italia.net, and fcbayern.com, the Croatian international has joined the Bavarian giants on a season-long loan, with a permanent deal to b completed in 2020.

Perisic told the official website:

“I’m very glad to be back in Germany.”

The deal will involve an initial 5 million Euro loan fee, followed by a 20 million Euro transfer fee next year.

This is a far cry from the 50 million Inter were demanding last year.

But the player is no longer wanted by Antonio Conte. And Bayern sees him a replacement fro Robben or Ribery who both left this year.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said of the deal:

“Ivan will help us from the start with his extensive experience at a top international level.”

“He has good technique and he’s flexible in attack.”

“I’m sure Ivan will settle in quickly as he knows both the Bundesliga and our Coach Niko Kovac well.”

Ivan Perisic in his first interview as a Bayern player said:

“I’m very glad to be back in Germany.”

“FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe.”

“We want to go on the attack, not only in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup, but also in the Champions League.”

As Ronaldo.com brought you last night, the 30-year-old was in Munch having his medical yesterday.

Perisic continued to say:

“Everyone knows Bayern is a really big club.”

“For me one of the best five in the world.”

“So when a club like this calls, you cannot say no.”

“I promise to do my best every day to win a lot of trophies.”

“The last seven-eight years I played on the left side, but I can also play on the right in midfield.”

“In my ‘old’ career, I used to also play as a striker.”

“I am open for everything if the Coach needs me, it doesn’t matter which position I’m going to play.”

“In private, I am calm, I like to spend time with my family, my kids, and my fans.”

Perisic’s stats make for excellent reading. He has scored 116 times in 424 senior appearances and has 86 assists to his name.
