Tottenham Hotspur has unveiled Steven Bergwijn as their latest signing of the winter transfer window.
Jose Mourinho has continued his rebuilding of Tottenham Hotspur. The Lillywhites today announced their third signing of the window and the Mourinho era.
Bergwijn, 22-years-old joins Spurs from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, for a fee rumored to be around 30 million Euros.
The clubs official website, tottenhamhotpsur.com released a statement confirming the player’s arrival and his shirt number.
The statement read:
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Steven Bergwijn from Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.”
“Steven has signed a contract with the club that will run until 2025 and will wear the number 23 shirt.”
The player had already told the press earlier today that he was in London and was excited about working with Mourinho. However, it was several hours later before the club made everything formally complete.
Bergwijn went straight into today’s training session with his new club.
