Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a decision on who will hit Manchester United’s penalties, following Marcus Rashford’s miss against Crystal Palace.
With two missed penalties in their last two games, Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has witnessed both Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford being denied from the spot.
Despite this however, the Mirror has reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will continue to back the young English starlet to hit the club’s penalties.
Solskjaer saying; “Fine margins.” when describing Rashford’s spot-kick hitting the post against Palace.
“We’re disappointed, but I’m sure Marcus will look at his penalty again, but he’ll definitely step up again.”
Solskjaer has been calm about the situation, understandably so…
Marcus Rashford has scored a number of important penalties for the club, including goals against Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain, as well as for England.
Ole ended the discussion with; “The two of them are confident and good penalty takers. I’ve been in that situation myself and missed a penalty for Norway, and when there are two names there. It’s the one who’s the most confident.”
