Olympique Lyon came from behind to earn a point in their 1-1 draw at home against Reims on Friday night.

Lyon lost two points in their bid to catch up with Ligue 1 leaders PSG and second-placed LOSC Lille.

They are still third in the French Ligue table, and now trail LOSC Lille by four points and Champions PSG by 14 points.

A home win against Reims would have kept them within touching distance of automatic qualification for the Champions League group stage.

Lyon were massive favorites ahead of the game but fell behind in the 34th minute as Pablo Chavarria gave Reims the lead. Sky Sports reports.

The home side was easily in control, controlling possession and creating multiple chances, but failed to find the equalizer before the break.
