Opinion: Eden Hazard is too good to remain at Chelsea FC

We need to talk about the elephant in the room, Chelsea FC is not a good enough club for Eden Hazard to continue his professional career.

Eden Hazard has been one of the best players in English football since he arrived from Lille back in 2012.

The Belgian player has grown to become one of the best in the world without any signs of slowing down, but he has never really gotten far in the biggest competition of them all.

Eden Hazard is a great player but winning the Champions League requires far more than just one of the best players on the planet.

There hasn’t really been a team around Hazard that can help him reach his ultimate target.

Eden has taken eight straight seasons without getting far in the continental competition and he can only take humiliation for so long.

When the Blues brought N’Golo Kante to the mix after the French midfielder won the Premier League with Leicester City, Hazard felt there was a beacon of hope for him to win the competition.

However, manager Antonio Conte lost his mind during his second season with the club and Hazard saw how all his plans of winning the competition crumbled before him.

The Belgium international took a break from all of his club duties and played an unforgettable World Cup, this is where he proved he is one of the best players in the world.

We even dare say that Eden Hazard already is the best Belgian player in football history.

Hazard’s World Cup performance

We are certain you have heard this many times during the last year, but we truly believe that Eden Hazard played an even better World Cup than Luka Modric.

The Belgium skipper was unlucky to have gotten France in the semifinal because he would’ve played the final if he got either England or Croatia on those final four matches.

Hazard’s ultimate performance came against Brazil in the tournament’s quarterfinals, this is the moment that pushed Florentino Perez to start making inquiries about the Chelsea star.

There were even rumors of him making a deal under the table with Real Madrid before the World Cup ended.

But all those were only rumors, there was nothing set on stone yet because Florentino Perez couldn’t make his mind about this player.

Los Blancos’ president has been known to make erroneous decisions in recent years when it comes to signing new players.

He has been obsessed with signing Neymar or more than a decade without realizing that Eden Hazard is a far better player than the Brazilian.

The last proof he needed of this was that game between Belgium and Brazil, one in which the PSG star played was below his level and Hazard gave the performance of his career.

Eden Hazard has outlived Chelsea

There is no way of going around this, Eden Hazard needs to play for another club that is far away from Chelsea or the Premier League.

This is a player who is far above the level that English football has offered in the last decade.

Spain is the ideal place for Hazard to continue his career and Real Madrid is the perfect environment for him to do so.

Zinedine Zidane is eager for the season to end in the Spanish capital, he knows that Hazard will be the very first player to say yes and he will be the one that will start the white revolution.

Real Madrid has a very difficult task ahead of them, they have to put together a team that can rival Leo Messi’s Barcelona.

We truly believe that Hazard is the perfect step to take if they want to restore their dominance in European football.

This player is the ideal name that should elevate Real Madrid back to their usual position of power.

We urge Florentino Perez to finally make up his mind and stop thinking that Beymar is the answer, Eden Hazard and some other players are the ones who can bring about change for Real Madrid.

We feel sorry for Chelsea but they had many opportunities to retain Eden Hazard and they wasted every single one of them.

Why do you think Chelsea was never able to put together a team that was good enough for Eden Hazard to stay? Please share your opinion in the comment section down below.

  1. I do love the way you have framed this specific concern and it does indeed present me personally some fodder for consideration. However, coming from what I have observed, I just wish when the actual remarks pack on that folks keep on issue and not start on a soap box involving some other news of the day. Still, thank you for this superb point and whilst I can not concur with the idea in totality, I regard your viewpoint.
