After their latest exhibitions in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers, there is a good chance that England can be better than France by next summer.
It might be an extremely complicated task but, the England National Team actually has what it takes to be a better national team than France is at the moment.
Before the international break that is about to end this Tuesday, we placed other squads such as Belgium, Croatia, and Holland on a similar level than the French or the English.
However, these two matches were more than enough to make us realize that Les Bleus and the Three Lions are actually one level above the rest of the other squads.
It’s evident now that the contest to become the best national team in the world will come during the summer, both squads have proven that they have the necessary talent to not only qualify to the upcoming European Championship but actually go all the way to the final.
In France’s case, they already proved that they have a good enough roster to win a major competition as they did during the World Cup and they have many players who will improve even more by the time the EURO 2020 begins.
Players like Kylian Mbappe or Ousmane Dembele could become very important for Didier Deschamps’ squad.

But we also realized that England is not very far along from what France has been producing, we even dare say that they have as many if not more young talents that can take them to the highest level of performance.
The likes of youngsters such as Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, or Callum Hodson-Odoi are enough proof to have all the country of England in cloud 9.
But it’s not just the young talents who are rising through the ranks what should keep the Three Lions overly confident, it is a nearly perfect mixture of the more experienced talents with those youngsters and a great manager who finally seems to understand how to properly use the specific skills from each individual in the squad’s best interest.
Gareth Southgate seems to know exactly what he is doing, he keeps making the very best decisions for the squad and all the players really seem fully on board with the way in which he is handling everything.
It’s been decades since we’ve seen such a competitive English side because the alleged ‘Golden Generation’ never really had proper management that could take them all the way to the top.
Ross Barkley tonight 👏👏👏

One of the players who performed brilliantly against Montenegro was Ross Barkley, he was the one who issued a warning to France and the rest of the national teams in the world.
“Our aim is to be the best country in the world,” he said via Sky Sports.
“You can see how much quality we’ve got in the squad, plus we’ve got players that can come in. Everyone gets on really well and the future looks bright.”
“It’s a great time to support England as we’ve got some talent in there. I’ve trained with Jadon [Sancho] and seen the U21’s, U20’s – there’s so much talent. There’s no fear in them when they come to the senior team.”
“There’s bound to be expectation after the World Cup – it was unbelievable. We’ve come back and kicked on. We can still improve – our target is to be the best country in the world and we’re on the right path.”
Specifically about his performance on Monday, Barkley also said: “I’d probably say this was my best game,” he added.
“I’ve had a hand in creating goals and scoring goals – but it’s more about the team effort. Over the years it’s been difficult to come to places like Montenegro – they made it hard for us in the first 10-15 minutes but we showed a lot of character.”
Inglaterra le ha dado la vuelta en unos pocos minutos, asistencia de Hudson-Odoi y gol de Ross Barkley, pienso que el ex-Everton le acaba de robar su primer gol de Callum. https://t.co/5CZ3lZrpaZ
