Antoine Griezmann is one of the best football players at the moment and plays his fifth season with Atletico Madrid.
Antoine Griezmann started his career at Real Sociedad and debuted in La Liga at the age of 18.
He was one of the most talented youngsters of his time and scored 40 goals in 141 La Lga appearances for Sociedad.
Atletico Madrid was the team that secured his signature in 2014, and Griezmann became the most important player for the Colchoneros throughout the years.
He is a quick, modern, and versatile left-footed forward and possesses an amazing set of skills, technique, vision and quality finishing.
Griezmann has won the UEFA Euro 2016 golden boot and was named Player of the Tournament, but France lost 1-0 to Portugal in the final.
The Frenchman won the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which is the biggest success in his career. He was the top scorer of his team and the top assist provider in the competition.

However, he missed out on the Ballon d’Or award for 2018, with Luka Modric winning it in front of him.
Griezmann admitted that he wants to win it at some point of his career saying:
“On a personal level, that’s the highest you can get. It’s the most historic award, the most prestigious one.
“However, I also am a player who thinks collectively over individually, but it would be nice [to win it] for myself, because of everything I’ve gone through, especially after having to separate myself from my family at 13 years old.”
In our opinion, if he wants to have a bigger chance of winning the Ballon d’Or, he needs titles on a club level.
And that’s what he lacks at Atletico. Griezmann has won only one tournament in his 5-year stay with the Colchoneros – the last season’s Europa League.
He lost in the 2016 Champions League final to Real Madrid and missed out on La Liga in all of the previous four seasons, with Barcelona being 10 points clear of Atleti in the current campaign.
The only chance for them to win a title this season seems to be the Champions League, as they won 2-0 against Juventus in the first leg of the round of 16.

And if Atletico Madrid fail to win a trophy, we believe that Antoine Griezmann should leave the club in the following summer.
Of course, he has many options. Manchester United have already made a deal with him back in 2017, but Griezmann decided to stay when FIFA banned Atletico from signing players.
Barcelona is another option, as the Catalans need a striker with Luis Suarez playing in poor form this season.
Bayern Munich needs rebuilding as well, and they could use a player with the qualities of Antoine Griezmann to replace Arjen Robben who is leaving the club at the end of the season.
In our opinion, playing for Barca or Bayern will increase the chances for the Frenchman of winning the Ballon d’Or and become the best football player in the World.
