Now that we know Zinedine Zidane is the new Real Madrid manager, it is clear that James Rodriguez will never wear the club’s jersey ever again.

With Zinedine Zidane’s official return as the Real Madrid manager, there are several players who will not benefit from the Frenchman’s return and one of them is Colombian midfielder, James Rodriguez.

In recent weeks there had been reports coming from Germany about the South American player talking about his hopes of possibly returning to Real Madrid when his loan spell is over, but his bad relationship with the French manager is the reason this option is completely closed after ‘Zizou’ got announced this Monday.

James has been recovering his best form in recent months for Bayern Munich, the Bavarian club has been enjoying his best football and together they have managed to fight for the Bundesliga title lately against Borussia Dortmund.

James is about to feature in next Wednesday’s return Champions League match against Liverpool FC, he will most likely offer a good performance because he’s been playing quite well in recent weeks but the news he got today could affect his performance.

Rodriguez was really hoping to make his comeback to Bayern, but this has completely changed James’ plans for good and he will make a decision soon.

During a TV program called ‘ El Chiringuito de Jugones’ from the Spanish media, journalist Edu Aguirre revealed that James Rodriguez didn’t take Zinedine Zidane’s return to Real Madrid very well.

According to his information that was also reported in Diario AS, the Colombian midfielder told his closest circle that he feels his cycle with Los Blancos is completely finished and there is no chance of him returning to the club during the rest of his career.

The player has the full support of Bayern Munich to sign a new contract after ending his loan spell, even Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stated that he feels completely confident on James Rodrigues staying at the German club and even ending his career there.

Now that both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery seem closer to retirement, Bayern is obviously expecting James Rodriguez to take a step forward and even taking Robben’s number ’10’ jersey after he eventually decides to retire.

Rodriguez has been an essential part of the most recent Bayern Munich revival in the Bundesliga, he is also one of the biggest threats that Liverpool FC has for next Wednesday’s Champions League match at Allianz Arena in Munchen.

We have to remember that James Rodriguez was brought to Real Madrid by president Carlo Ancelotti right after the 2014 World Cup, the Colombian was coming fresh out of one of the best performances in the tournament’s history and Florentino Perez saw fit to bring him to Spain.

As soon as he arrived in the club, the player got the club’s number ’10’ jersey but he was never able to deliver the expected results during manager Carlo Ancelotti’s second year after winning ‘La Decima’.

After a failed spell from Rafael Benitez, Zinedine Zidane arrived and he immediately chose Isco over James from the very start.

The Colombian player quickly understood this massive dis and he decided to seek fortune elsewhere, all the hopes of coming back when Zinedine Zidane wasn’t in the club are completely wasted as James knows that the Frenchman doesn’t really like him as a player.

While there are other options for James Rodriguez to play for other clubs such as Manchester United, it is more likely that he may decide to remain in Germany and play the final years of his career at the highest level in the German Bundesliga.
