We dare say that Jurgen Klopp has earned his right to sign a new contract extension regardless of what happens to Liverpool on Saturday.
The season that is about to end for both Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp has been spectacular once again, the German manager keeps improving.
Fenway Sports Group brought him to the club with the idea that he could start a revolution that would eventually bring trophies to the club.
Despite not having won anything over the last three seasons yet, Klopp has completed a spell that many managers in football would kill to have at any major club.
There is nobody who doubts about Jurgen Klopp’s capabilities and the wish to renew his contract is practically unanimous within the club’s board of directors.
Chairman Tom Werner just revealed that the club is actively trying to get that signature from the German manager regardless of what happens to the club on Saturday.
Everybody believes in Jurgen’s methods and they want him to remain inside the institution for many years to come.
Werner recently offered an interview to The Liverpool Echo about the club’s plans for the future, he explained what Fenway Sports Group’s role will be in the next few years.
The chairman also revealed the plans to expand Anfield stadium but the main focus should be on closing a new deal for the manager.

“It’s been a period of constant progress and it’s been a real pleasure to watch the continual improvement of the team,” said Werner to the Liverpool Echo.
“It’s been a wonderful time for the club. I remember when we locked in our position as one of the top four teams qualifying for the Champions League for next season, some people almost took it for granted because our goal really all year was to actually win the league.”
“We are extremely proud of what the whole team at LFC have accomplished. When I say ‘we’, I’m talking about John, Mike and I.”
“Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that when there is an atmosphere where people are empowered to work together as a team, great things can happen.”
“Obviously, it starts with Jurgen and his outstanding leadership. That’s critical to everything that we’ve achieved this year.”
“Everybody is doing an extraordinary job working together and I am very proud of what the organization has achieved, not simply on the pitch, but off the pitch too.”
“We don’t really want to discuss his situation publicly, especially so close to the final,” he added.
“But I think you know that we think the world of him. We have already extended his contract once.”
“All I can say is that it’s obviously important that he stays for as long as he likes. We believe that he’s committed to Liverpool”

Liverpool should sit down with Klopp after the final.
The chairman does a good job by explaining that rushing to sign a new contract right now would be a mistake.
The squad is currently focused on trying to win the very first title of the Klopp era, something that has eluded the club for a few years and they don’t want to wait for it anymore.
Getting this title at the exact moment would certainly take a lot of pressure out of the German manager, this will be extremely beneficial for the squad at the start of next season.
The plan for the Reds’ future has no other manager in mind other than Jurgen Klopp, none of this would’ve worked without him as the leader.
We believe that the club’s board will immediately start talking about the future as soon as the final ends, regardless of what happens to Liverpool.
Because the club is aware that losing the final is within the realm of possibilities and they don’t mind waiting a little more time for that silverware to come.
Everybody knows by now that Klopp is taking the squad down the right path, winning a trophy is only a matter of time.
As of right now, we are convinced that Jurgen is one of the top 3 managers in the world alongside Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino.
“I’m proud – very proud – but it’s not a moment to feel it; it’s a moment to really feel each muscle and it’s important we really say, ‘OK, come on, we need everything to do it because we want it.’” 💪💪
