Opinion: Man United to make Real Madrid suffer for Pogba

We need to talk about the situation’s latest between Paul Pogba, Real Madrid, and Man United. The Red Devils will make Los Blancos suffer.

Real Madrid may think they will have an easy time signing Paul Pogba, but Man United won’t let them have it that easy.

Los Blancos have dealt with this kind of transfer issues every year when Florentino Perez tries to sign a top player.

The president’s most recent cases happened with Tottenham Hotspur, it occurred twice when Real Madrid tries to sign Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

In both instances, chairman Daniel Levy made the whole process very stressful for the Spanish club and both deals happened until the very last minute.

It was clear that Tottenham didn’t want to sell either of both players but they eventually surrendered, mainly because both stars wanted to play at Real Madrid.

The club already knows that almost no other institution is willing to negotiate with them, which is something very common for the club.

Not everybody likes Florentino because he always represented the “shark” of the transfer market.

Perez is famous for not caring about how much money he spends for a single player, but even he drew a line when PSG started paying ungodly amounts of money for people like Neymar or Kylian Mbappe.

Perez refuses to become part of the market.

With this new transfer policy that completely inflated the market, Florentino Perez soon realized he wasn’t the big whale in the business.

Contrary to the clubs that are operated by states from the orient, the Spanish chairman has to worry about all the Real Madrid associates who put their trust and money in his hands.

As the most successful and prestigious club in the world, Real Madrid has a reputation to protect and Florentino soon decided to not be a part of this new transfer game.

However, time was bound to catch up with him and the club. While Real Madrid did live one of its golden eras with Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane, this generation of players was bound to end at some point.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit was the first sign that times were changing for the club and a new reconstruction needed to happen.

Even though he already spent good money on Eden Hazard, Perez still refuses to bust out the wallet for Paul Pogba.

With Manchester United completely opposed to letting their best player leave, it seems that the Real Madrid president will have to deal with another episode like the ones he had with Tottenham Hotspur.

Takefusa Kubo ‘very happy’ to make Real Madrid debut

Japanese star Takefusa Kubo was pleased to make his first appearance in a Real Madrid jersey despite it ending in a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.

In fact, there is already evidence that the Red Devils are willing to go to extreme lengths in order to ruin any effort coming from Madrid.

The dreaded fax incident.

The evidence we have of how tough Manchester United can get goes back to the year 2015, which was an era in which Louis van Gaal coached the Red Devils.

The Dutch manager knew he had one of the best goalkeepers in the world with David De Gea, a player who was heavily coveted by Florentino.

The president was willing to trade Keylor Navas for the Spanish goalkeeper, he even started negotiations for him during the summer of 2015.

Manchester United always expressed their intentions to not sell their player, even if De Gea himself was desperate to play for Real Madrid.

A deal was apparently reached in the final hours of the transfer deadline, but a mysterious fax malfunction ruined the whole operation.

It is said that Van Gaal himself was the one who delayed this document to be delivered, which prevented Real Madrid from completing their bidding.

The English club is willing to go all the way to the last day of transfers over Pogba, a midfielder whom they consider even more important than David De Gea right now.

Florentino and his crew are in for a very stressful month ahead of them.
