One of the most urgent positions that Manchester United will need to refresh for next season is Romelu Lukaku’s. They should let him leave.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is one of Manchester United’s biggest disappointments from recent years at the club.
The former Everton striker arrived at Old Trafford with the promise of becoming one of the best forwards in the world but he never lived up to the expectations.
None of the managers who had him in the squad were able to get a consistent level of performance and the club has grown tired of this.
We previously mentioned a report that talks about up to three different major European clubs who are interested in signing the Belgian player next summer.
Manchester United would be willing to listen to offers coming from several places because they are already looking for his replacement.
Romelu Lukaku is one of the Red Devils who are most likely to leave Manchester United next season and the club wouldn’t mind it.
The board of directors reportedly considers the striker to be among the elements who are not at the level that the fans expect from a Manchester United player.
Lukaku would join other disappointments such as Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Nemanja Matic, and even Paul Pogba.

Failing to get the Top Four
This is a scenario that could not only push players like Romelu Lukaku out of Manchester United, but other key players as well.
The Guardian reports players such as Paul Pogba, David de Gea, and many more players would be discouraged to continue playing for United if they didn’t qualify to the Champions League next season.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already sent his players a stern warning about not feeling committed to the cause.
The Norwegian manager isn’t keen on having players who are not willing to play at the club if they don’t finish the season in the Top Four.
The former United legend reckons that the players who are not willing to remain with the squad during difficult times are simply not Red Devil material.
Romelu Lukaku is one of the players who fall into that category and the fans have already voiced their disapproval for this type of behavior.
The clubs that would be interested in signing Lukaku for next season are Internazionale Milano, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich.
But Lukaku does require to improve his level of performance if he wants one of those top clubs to make a bid for him during the summer transfer market.

Hyping up for the Manchester Derby
The most important moment of the season is next Wednesday’s Manchester Derby, both for United and City.
The clubs from the same city are about to embark on one of the most stressful days of the season that could go either way.
The scenarios are just as urgent for both squads but Manchester United is the side that needs the victory with even more urgency.
They can’t even afford to get a draw because that would certainly limit their options to finish the season in the Top Four.
Although getting a tie would likely end with Manchester City’s hopes to win the title, Manchester United are going to do everything they can to get the victory and effectively save their hopes to finish the season on a high note.
The Red Devils have been delivering poor results in the last few weeks, they haven’t been the same squad since they eliminated PSG in the Champions League.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been working tirelessly with all his players in order to get the best performance out of them for next Wednesday.
The whole season will be decided for them against one of the title contenders at their own stadium.
Lukaku is certainly one of the players who needs to make an appearance in order to save the squad.
