We need to discuss the many misconceptions about Jose Mourinho’s alleged wisdom as of late, his recent years have been filled with mediocrity.
It boggles my mind how the English media may be suffering from short-term memory loss about Jose Mourinho, they seem to have forgotten his recent mediocrity.
For some strange reason, some of the biggest media outlets in the isles are starting to wonder if the Portuguese manager was right all along at Manchester United.
They are even considering that he may not have any guilt for the Red Devils’ recent failures. They seem to have forgotten all the bad results he’s gotten on his previous two clubs before taking control of Manchester United.
It appears that we will have to refresh their memory a little bit and identify the pattern that has emerged in Jose Mourinho’s recent years as a manager.
We’ll start with the Portuguese manager’s experience at Real Madrid, which is where things started to go wrong for him.
We are convinced that the extreme competition with Pep Guardiola’s FC Barcelona had an effect on his psyche, to the point that he began getting a paranoid reaction with some of his own players.
Mourinho has always presented a narcissistic tendency in which he always regards himself as the star of the team, which effectively undermines the rest of the players.
With Jose Mourinho having a reputation of falling out with high-profile players, a former @realmadrid president has revealed that when he was in charge of Los Blancos, he had issues with the likes of @Cristiano, Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas. #SLInt https://t.co/HRmsvBlFBj

The Iker Casillas incident.
Jose Mourinho’s problem with Iker Casillas is the reason we believe that the manager has lost most of his confidence in the players.
During his time as the Real Madrid manager, the Spanish goalkeeper was accused of sharing lineups with the press and Mourinho immediately labeled him as a traitor of the club.
This is exactly where the manager’s mindset completely changed towards players, he was never the same from that moment forward.
After all of this happened, everything started going downhill for the Portuguese manager, he completely divided the fans on this issue.
After this happened, many of the Real Madrid player started having problems with Jose Mourinho.
Even stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos had a falling out with the gaffer, it didn’t take long for him to get sacked due to a lack of results at Real Madrid.
President Florentino Perez famously didn’t want to let the manager go, but the board of directors pressed him on the matter and he had to give in.
To this day, Jose Mourinho is still loved by many Real Madrid fans but his skill to motivate his players was clearly affected by this incident.

Mourinho’s return to Chelsea wasn’t as he expected.
Mourinho’s pressure at Real Madrid took a wild turn during his final season, he arranged everything to return to Chelsea with the idea that everything would be the same.
However, the manager came back to London with that problem he had with Iker Casillas and the rest of the Real Madrid players.
The Portuguese manager did win the Premier League on his first season, but the pattern didn’t take long to emerge on the second year.
Mou started having similar types of problems with many of the players due to his traumas from his time at Real Madrid.
The man was sacked under the same conditions that he was from both Los Blancos and Manchester United.
This is the main reason why we can’t understand how several of the most respected news outlets in England are giving him a break.
BBC Sport wrote a piece that practically absolves Mourinho from the mistakes he made at Manchester United.
We are not saying there are no problems inside the club, but Mourinho doesn’t deserve to be forgiven for not living up to the expectations we all have about him anymore.
Much like Pep Guardiola, Jose is the one who set the bar high and performing below average is a burden he will have to carry for the rest of his life.
