Opinion: Real Madrid no longer needs to sign Paul Pogba

It’s time for us to tell you why we believe Real Madrid no longer needs to sign Paul Pogba during the next summer transfer window.

Paul Pogba has been on Real Madrid’s wishlist for years now, Zinedine Zidane is determined to bring the Manchester United player to the club.

During the previous summer, there was a realistic approach from Los Blancos but the Red Devils still refused.

If the English club had accepted the offer that Florentino Perez made, we would be living through a very different situation.

Paul Pogba went quickly from being considered one of the most coveted players in the world, to a major failure.

This season has been a non-stop hell of injuries for Pogba, he is still recovering from one that has kept him out of all the competitions for the majority of the season.

In only half a season, we all realized that Paul Pogba is not that necessary at Real Madrid after all.

We know that Zidane is not going to listen because he thinks this player is essential for the squad’s future.

However, we will give the Frenchman a good reason to forget about Paul and focus on the players he has to help him achieve his goals.

Paul Pogba is a fantastic player, but he is no good for a club as giant as Los Blancos.

We have a total of two reasons why we think the Spanish giants shouldn’t sign this midfielder anymore.

Manchester United should rethink their strategy and not allow him to leave.

Luka Modric still has a few good years left.

Despite not having the best season under his belt right now, we believe Luka Modric still has at least two more seasons at the highest level left in him.

If you don’t believe us, we will give you a proper example that will convince you.

Luka Modric is a very similar player to Italian Andrea Pirlo, Real Madrid would make a terrible mistake if they allowed him to leave.

The retired player lived some of his better years as a star when he was a seasoned veteran.

We believe that Luka Modric will go through a similar path during his final years, but he needs to feel the confidence of his club.

If he doesn’t feel that he has Zidane’s backing, Modric won’t hesitate to leave Los Blancos during the next summer transfer window.

This would open the possibility for Paul Pogba to arrive, but the club would be making one of the biggest mistakes.

We feel the need to remind everyone that the Croatian international is a Ballon d’Or winner, the one player who ended with Messi and Ronaldo’s monopoly.

Florentino Perez needs to think twice before he makes a decision on this player, selling him would be incredibly disrespectful.

But we have a feeling that Zidane will choose to drop him.

Fede Valverde is also a major obstacle for Pogba.

Another aspect that should convince Real Madrid that Paul Pogba isn’t necessary is right in front of their eyes.

Federico Valverde is a force of nature that came knocking down every door in front of him.

The young Uruguay international has all the qualities that Zinedine Zidane was looking for in Paul Pogba, and he didn’t cost them a dime.

Bringing the French midfielder will inevitably get in the way of Valverde’s development as a professional.

But more importantly, Fede wouldn’t like feeling left aside by his manager if Paul came to the club.

You don’t need to be a genius to tell that Valverde is arguably one of the biggest revelations in European football this season.

Zinedine Zidane would make a terrible mistake if he allowed this player to lose his motivation by bringing Pogba on board.

We honestly feel that the Real Madrid train has left Paul already, he should look for a different alternative to continue his professional career.

Even staying at Manchester United seems like a better alternative for the French midfielder.
