We will tell you the reason we believe that Zinedine Zidane’s immaculate legacy at Real Madrid is completely at jeopardy, the Frenchman is back.

It didn’t take long for Real Madrid to officially announce Zinedine Zidane back as the club’s manager in place of Santiago Solari, Los Blancos bring back the manager who made them even more eternal than they already were but he is risking his legacy with this move.

‘Zizou’ is to take his former job back immediately from now until the summer of 2022, the French manager will offer a public press conference next to president Florentino Perez later tonight and he will get several questions from the press.

The club decided to sack Santiago Solari as the manager but they offered him the chance to remain at Real Madrid in another position, there isn’t confirmation about what the Argentine manager will decide in regards to his future.

Zidane comes back after several months of getting some rest and flirting with many other clubs in Europe without stopping, he was already looking for his best possible destination but he always knew there was no better place for him than Real Madrid.

The French manager was able to spend a lot of quality time with his family during this time, but he knows that Los Blancos desperately need him in order to continue winning titles.

We’ve already spoken about some of the challenges that Zinedine Zidane has with the Spanish giants, but the biggest one will be perhaps to keep winning without Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence inside the squad.

Zidane knows that the best moments of the club’s three years in which he managed, were possible in great part due to Cristiano’s contribution throughout the years.

When he saw the situation unfolding before his eyes between the player and president Florentino Perez, ‘Zizou’ knew it was time for him to take a step aside and let the club figure out things on their own.

Some even dare say that Zidane decided to leave as a lesson from him to the president, one that Florentino has learned the hard way.

Perez now knows that all the council that he received from Zinedine Zidane and blatantly ignored was right, the French manager should arrive with full powers now and he will have enough time or money to make the revolution he desires inside the club.

A blank check to sign any players he wants, and almost complete powers of the decision-making process are what Zidane will most likely get from the club’s board.

The official announcement was made a few minutes ago, it talks about several interesting topics on Real Madrid’s official website.

Now that we know how important it was for Los Blancos to recover their best manager in history, the real problem comes with this news and we are really curious to see how Zidane will manage this.

The French manager made sure that he left one of football’s biggest legacies that any coach has made throughout the years at the club, he is completely jeopardizing his immaculate image by taking on this new job because he is only answering to the president’s whims and he is only doing it because he feels indebted with the club that has given him everything.

People keep talking about how many great things Florentino Perez has done for the institution, but the truth is that he wouldn’t have accomplished a full third is those things without Zinedine Zidane.

The board of directors will do good to really give Zidane full powers inside the club and not let him down, not doing so could translate into having the image of one of their prodigal sons completely wasted due to an urgency to make things better.
