The Argentinean footballer has just joined Paris Saint-Germain and so was he has liked what he’s seen with the French club.
Argentinean midfielder Leandro Paredes has quite the football career.
He started playing professionally with Boca Juniors in 2010, but he was loaned to Chievo and Roma in the Italian Lega Serie A during this time.
He was bought definitely by Roma in 2015 but was once again loaned, now to Empoli.
In 2017 he was transferred to Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Russian Premier League, until January, when he moved for the first time to the French Ligue 1 to work with Paris Saint-Germain.
“I haven’t been here for long, but everyone has welcomed me very warmly, both on and off the pitch,” he told the official club website.
“There are a lot of South Americans in the team so it’s a little easier. Working together is a great source of motivation.”
“I haven’t played that much as a No.10, not enough to play there full time. I feel very comfortable playing as a No.6 or No.8 and playing with two or three in midfield suits me fine,” he explained about his position at the team.
“I want to keep improving every day, I play with great players, a great standard and I want to keep working hard to reach their level and live up to the expectations of my teammates and the whole club.”
“I feel very good in this team and I think we can do something great this year in the Champions League,” he continued.
“In the first leg against Manchester United we showed a lot of quality, we played as a team and I think we’re on the right track and now we have to keep going like this to reach our objectives.”
“Angel called me before I signed here, we spoke a lot, about football, about the team, the club,” he said.
“He organized things for me even before I arrived. He has been a great help and I hope we can keep working hard together to take the team as far as possible in every competition we play in.”
Here we go! It's nearly time!… 👀
