The midfielder is currently on loan at Italian Lega Serie A club Atalanta after not finding a spot in Sarri’s team

Central-midfielder Mario Pasalic joined Chelsea in 2014, but after being loaned five times in four years, he believes maybe is time to look for a permanent club.

The Croatia national team footballer started his professional career in Hajduk Split.

But after one year he was then transferred to English Premier League club Chelsea, where he hasn’t played a single game.

He was then loaned to Elche, Monaco, Milan, Spartak Moscow and now to Atalanta in the Italian Lega Serie A.

“In a week with them in Australia, I experienced the football of Sarri,” he was reported saying by Football London.

“Quality and aggressiveness, possession and pressing, all combined very well. I asked myself another question: what good would it have done me to sit on the bench?”

“I don’t belong at Chelsea right now, or at any top club. I have to understand if I can be. And to understand it, I need a team to stay at and play, two or three years,” he added.

“Maybe I’ll be back there [Chelsea], maybe you’ll understand that my big club is Atalanta, but I don’t want to make the wrong choice anyway.”
