AC Milan’s Patrick Cutrone revealed his admiration for strikers Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain and the legendary Filippo Inzaghi
The 20-year-old forward is considered one of the brightest young Italian prospects in football right now after a breakthrough campaign last term.
Now Cutrone has named the three strikers he idolises – starting with Chelsea’s Morata and Milan team-mate Higuain.
“[Alvaro] Morata has some features I admire very much,” Cutrone told DAZN, via Football-Italia.
“He’s quick, and then he’s ruthless in front of goal. He’s always done well and I admire him.”
“Higuain? It’s an honour to play and train with him, in training I watch him and learn new things.”
The Italy international has been compared to Milan great Inzaghi in the past and even worked with him in the club’s youth squad.
“At home, I’ve got DVDs with all his goals, I used to watch them as a child,” said Cutrone.
“When I met him as Primavera coach, he immediately advised me on what movements to make.
“We had a competition in the penalty box once. It ended in a draw…”
Cutrone has scored three goals in 14 appearances for Milan this season.
