After the report from Italy broke about Pep Guardiola allegedly making a verbal agreement with Juventus for next season, the manager denied it all.

It was just yesterday when Italy became a revolution as Pep Guardiola was linked to an alleged verbal agreement with Juventus to become the manager, this supposed deal was disclosed by ‘Il Giornale’ journalist Luigi Guelpa.

The reason everybody believed this man as he broke the news on Radio CRC via Calciomercato, was that the media in Italy believe that he was the one who broke the news about Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus last summer.

However, there is a massive problem with this because Guelpa didn’t even break the Ronaldo news int he first place.

The Portuguese forward actually keeps a close relationship with La Sexta journalist Edu Aguirre, who was the actual person that broke the news almost a year before the shocking transfer happened.

This is the exact reason why we didn’t report this news in the first place, but Pep Guardiola caught wind of what happened and the Catalan manager also seems confused about who really broke the story about Ronaldo last summer.

Needless to say, Pep completely denied any claim coming from Guelpa after his side’s victory against Watford on Saturday.

After Manchester City defeated Watford in the Premier League with a Raheem Sterling hat-trick, Pep Guardiola spoke about the alleged deal he made with Juventus and also talked about the journalist who claims it is a done deal.

The manager confirmed that he is happy at Manchester City at the moment and he doesn’t plan to go anywhere for the next few years, he also believes the club wants him to stay.

“I’m not going to Juventus,” Guardiola told talkSPORT’s Sam Matterface.

“I have two more years here and I want to stay here. Except if the club sack me, I hope that [for] the next two seasons I will be the manager for Man City. I wanna stay here. Maybe longer.”

“And I’m so sorry for Massimiliano Allegri for these kinds of comments, but I don’t know how the journalist- For one guy to say one news and say these kinds of things.”

“Everybody asks me this question. Why do people ask me if I go to Juventus when one guy says that, wakes up and says I’m going to go to Juventus?”

Nedved: No replacement for Allegri at Juventus yet

The Italian manager will say goodbye at the end of the Italian Lega Serie A season next Sunday as his team visits Sampdoria.

“So now it’s 1-1, he made a good shot with Ronaldo, but Mr. Guelpa missed a shot.”

“I’m not going to go to Juventus in the next years.”

Even if Pep Guardiola doesn’t win the Champions League by the end of the season, it is clear that the Catalan manager has completely changed the club for the better and he has even made a massive impact in the competition.

It appears that the club seems quite happy with the work that the manager and his whole technical staff are doing, which is why they are giving him more and more power as time goes by.

As things stand right now, Guardiola is convinced that the club will at least fight to win several competitions by the end of the season but he always keeps that low profile as it has been normal throughout his whole career.

There really is no reason for Pep Guardiola to even entertain the idea of moving to another club right now, he seems happy at City and he has even found a place where he could actually remain for more than three or four years.

When he first started his career at Barcelona, Guardiola reckoned that he wouldn’t last longer than three seasons anywhere but something about the Premier League has made him feel very comfortable for Manchester City’s benefit.

So yeah, his alleged deal with Juventus is a complete fabrication.
