Inter Milan and Juventus are set to play in the Derby d’Italia this next weekend in the Italian Serie A tournament.

Juventus has been already crowned champions of the 2018-2019 Italian Lega Serie A season.

But the top spots to qualify for the UEFA Champions League are still available, and Internazionale Milan hopes to be one of those team that qualifies next season.

Which is why it’s very important for the team to beat the Bianconeri, as they will meet next Saturday in the Derby d’Italia.

Inter is in the third position of the table with 61 points, six behind Napoli -who have played one less game-, and five points away from fourth-place AC Milan.

And for Ivan Perisic, the Nerazzurri can beat anyone in the world.

“We’re Inter and we must try to win all our remaining games because we’re strong,” he told Football Italia.

“We can beat anyone: now we’re thinking about Juve. We want to tie up third place. The important thing is to qualify for the Champions League.”

He added: “We know Juventus, they’ve won the Scudetto for the last eight years. They’re strong and they’ll come here to win, so we’ll have to be better than them.”

“During the week we’ll prepare well for the clash. We have what it takes to beat them, although we need to improve our finishing,” he continued.

“We create plenty of chances but often fail to take them.”
