Peter Crouch feels Harry Kane should continue playing for Tottenham after Jose Mourinho’s arrival.
Harry Kane is in sublime for Spurs this season. The skipper has scored a total of 13 goals for Tottenham this season, with seven of those coming in the Premier League. Following his heroics, the 26-year old is constantly linked with a move away from London.
But former Tottenham player Peter Crouch says that he sees no reason as to why the England international should quit his team for a new one. Crouch believes Tottenham are capable of competing for any maor trophy under the management of Jose Mourinho.
As reported by Daily Mail, Peter Crouch also insisted that winning trophies with Tottenham will help Harry Kane build his legacy.
“I don’t see why he would leave. People are saying he needs to win trophies,” the former England striker said.
“He is 26, he has got a winner as manager at that football club. He is captain there – an incredible stadium, an incredible training ground. He’s from the area.
“If he can win something at Tottenham, which he can do under Mourinho, it will mean more to him than winning somewhere else,” the former Spurs player insisted.
