Krzysztof Piatek is confident that he will continue to improve his performance for AC Milan.
Krzysztof Piatek recently spoke about his life in Milan. The Polish striker revealed that he has not yet fully adjusted to his new club. While he acknowledged his dip in form in recent times, Piatek assured that he is committed to improving his performance.
The Pole also expressed his admiration for the fans in San Siro. Despite it was only his first season, the 24-year old said that the Italian supporters made him feel welcomed in Milan.
“When I moved to Milan, it all happened so fast that I didn’t even ask questions. I was focused on work, in football, it’s always about setting new goals,” Krzysztof Piatek said.
“Now I’m worth €38m, but the next time I switch clubs, I will be worth €60-70m. I have to be ambitious, I will commit to this. I’m at the beginning of my career, it’s only the second season in Serie A.
“I was shocked. In the first game against Napoli, I wore headphones, but I could still hear the entire stadium singing my name and applauding. They treated me as if I had been playing there for many years,” Piatek stated in a report by Calciomercato.
#ACMilan have scored just 11 goals in the first 12 games of the season, the lowest amount since the 1994-95 season (10 goals).
