Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has tipped AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek to score 35 goals this season.
The Polish striker completed a €35m deal last month to join AC Milan following the exit of Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea.
And Piatek who netted 19 goals for Genoa in the first half of the season has since continued his prolific form with seven more for Milan.
“It doesn’t surprise me that Piatek is scoring so much,” Preziosi told reporters via Football Italia.
“For me, he’ll reach 35 goals. I expect him to do that, otherwise, I wouldn’t have sold him for so much.
“I understand the Genoa fans aren’t happy about the deal, but we had to do it. I wish him all the success he deserves.
“Rolon, Romero, Lerager, and Sanabria? Luckily they’re doing well, but we studied them closely before signing them.
Preziosi further hinted the club are in search of players that will meet the club’s ambition in the future.

“There are also players who don’t do well or live up to expectations, but we think every player we buy will be suitable for the football we play.
“We’ll see which other talents are out there and we’ll know more in June. We study everything a year before.”
