Despite lingering doubts over his future, Jadon Sancho has boarded a plane to Switzerland with the rest of the Borussia Dortmund squad.
It’s emerged that Sancho is heading to Switzerland with Borussia Dortmund on Monday morning, despite the uncertainty surrounding his own future at Signal Iduna Park.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation in Germany, developing into one of the biggest young prospects in European football. Therefore, he hasn’t been short of interest.
Reports have linked clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester United to the youngster.
Although United are the clear favorites to sign Sancho, who formerly played for local rivals Manchester City. The latest rumors suggest the Red Devils have until August 10 to match Dortmund’s €120m asking price.
Of course, the Bundesliga giants are under no pressure to sell Sancho just yet. He remains under contract until 2022, meaning time is on their side for now.
But Dortmund have given their biggest sign yet that Sancho will remain by confirming his attendance to their pre-season training camp in Switzerland on Twitter.
This announcement comes following widespread reports that claimed BVB will not sell Sancho if he joins them in Bad Ragaz.
