Stefano Pioli has claimed Theo Hernandez ‘can become one of the best full-backs in the world’ ahead of Milan’s match against Juventus on Tuesday.
AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has heaped praise on Theo Hernandez, saying he can reach the very top of his career.
The left-back has been one of the Rossoneri’s most consistent performers throughout the course of the season.
Theo Hernandez put in another inspired performance as Milan put in a strong performance to defeat title challengers Lazio over the weekend.
Up next for Pioli and his men is a crunch clash against table-toppers Juventus. Ahead of what is a crucial fixture for both sides, the 52-year-old has heaped praise on his reliable left-back option.
“Theo is evidently more inclined to the attacking aspect of the game,” Pioli said as quoted by Football-Italia. “He’s currently working with continuity and attention to the defensive phase.
“It means that he understood he can become one of the best full-backs in the world if he works on that department.
“He will have to very careful tomorrow night.”
A top-four finish might be out of reach for Milan but Hernandez still has his sights on a strong finish with his side this term.
