Pioli wants his whole team to be like Ibrahimovic

AC Milan prepares to face city rivals Inter Milan in the Derby Della Madonnina, manager Stefano Pioli is looking for a team of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s.

Since Ibrahimovic’s arrival in Milan, Stefano Pioli’s team’s fortunes have taken an upturn. They have not lost, winning five and drawing twice.

Ibra’s persona, attitude and desire to win is there for all to see. He is the type of player that will accept nothing less than 100%.

Speaking to the club’s official website acmilan.com, Pioli was not able to confirm if the big Swede would play. He missed the draw with Hellas Veron through injury.

The Milan boss is hopeful he will return, and that when he does his influence helps the rest of the team be more like him.

He said:

“He has undergone an individual training program.”

“Today he is training with the squad and if he gets through that, he will be available tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow we must all have the face of Ibrahimovic, fired up and determined.”

“We must maximize our potential.”
