Gerard Pique is in the centre of attention recently as the centre-back antagonized his fanbase by focusing on the things outside of football.
After a hard-earned win against Leganes today, Pique had something to say.
“I spoke to the boss, it was a friendly chat.
“He asked me what this week’s plans were and how we were going to do it.
“The relationship with the coach is phenomenal.
“The relationship with the club is fine. It’s the noise from outside [creating problems],” he said, as quoted by Marca.
Pique is overseeing the new Davis Cup in Madrid organized by himself.
The Catalans are now at the top of the league. However, they’re just three points ahead of Los Blancos, who face Real Sociedad tonight.
