Gerard Pique suggests Barcelona will continue to fight Real Madrid in La Liga title race till the very last matchday of the season.

FC Barcelona were held to a draw for the second time after the restart of La Liga when visited Estadio de Balaidos to play Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Two goals from Luis Suarez on either side of Fyodor Smolov’s strike and an exquisite free-kick from Iago Aspas late in the game marked a 2-2 stalemate between the two sides.

Saturday’s results meant Barca, who were already behind on head-to-head record, give Real Madrid an opportunity to stretch their lead. Real Madrid play against Espanyol later today and a victory would take them two points ahead of their bitter rivals.

Gerard Pique, however, is not too concerned by the Catalans’ costly mistake. Reminding that his side have a strong never-give-up attitude, Pique insists the title race is still far from over.

“Remember one thing, we are Barcelona and this isn’t over yet,” the defender said via a Twitter post.

“Fighting right until the end is in our DNA. We keep our heads high and on Tuesday we go again!”
