Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted this is the worst period after five years with the English Premier League club.
Tottenham Hotspur stands in the ninth position of the English Premier League table with only five points after four games.
The Spurs have only won once, drawn twice, and lost one time.
And for manager Mauricio Pochettino, this is the “worst period after five years” at the club.
“Tuesday, we party. Finish the transfer window after tomorrow, I think Tuesday we are going to make a big party and celebrate,” he told The Daily Mail.
“Because I think it was my worst period after five years in Tottenham.”
Pochettino explained: “I was a little bit worried about the situation because we knew very well what was going on.”
“I am optimistic, happy, what is most important is to all be on the same page, with the club.”
“Those players have a clear idea where we want to arrive and how we want to move, clear minds like today Christian and different players, tomorrow they’re only going to be focused on Tottenham, not on thinking about different things that make management so difficult,” he added.
“There are still hours or one day. I want to say it is going to be impossible but it is going to be difficult (for him to leave).”
“I think nothing is impossible in football, but the most important thing is that it is only 24 hours and I hope that everything will be clear for everyone,” he concluded.
