Spurs boss Pochettino has been linked to clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid since arriving at Tottenham in 2014.

Mauricio Pochettino joked that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is “worried” that he’ll lose his services to other elite clubs. The Argentine coach has yet to win a trophy with the Spurs but just led Tottenham to a 1-1 Champions League draw against Barcelona that secured their spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.

“Daniel [Levy] does not laugh. I know it gets boring but he maybe is worried, he is concerned. It is normal. It is not nice for Daniel to hear all that history of course,” he told UK newspapers, according to FourFourTwo.

Sterling continues his fight against racism

The Manchester City ace says football must deliver harsher punishments to stop racism in the sport around the world.

“Do I have to reassure him? No. It is like in football when the sporting director or the club president says, ‘No, the manager is going to be here and we trust in him’, and next game [he is] out.

“If you reassure something it is because you are thinking different things. He is a worried man because he is jealous about me.”
