Tottenham’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, says that Harry Kane can reach an even higher level than Argentinian legend Gabriel Batistuta.

Over the past three seasons, Harry Kane established himself as one of the best strikers in Premier League and in Europe. The English international was a constant figure in the top goalscorer charts and in the weekend he managed to score his 100th and 101st goals for Tottenham.

Kane’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino hailed the striker, backing him to reach higher levels than Gabriel Batistuta. Pochettino and Batistuta were teammates for the Argentina national team. In the post match interview, after their 3-0 win over Everton in the weekend, Spurs’ manager said: “Maybe [he has] different characteristics but I think he is in that level, with Batistuta.

Batistuta was a killer. I think yes, you can compare, but for me, I put Batistuta there [raises one hand above the other] and Harry [just below] – but Harry can be better than him.┬áHe is a killer, Harry Kane, look at the goals he has scored the last year.”
