Momo Sissoko has urged Paul Pogba to consider moving to a club where he would be able to get back to his best.

Former Bianconeri midfielder Momo Sissoko believes Paul Pogba would prefer returning to Juventus rather than signing for Real Madrid in the summer.

A series of injuries has prevented the Frencham from featuring regularly in his side’s campaign this season. He did return to action during Manchester Untied‘s 4-1 thrashing of Newcastle United in December last year but was immediately forced back to the treatment table after suffering an ankle injury.

Real Madrid have long been linked with a move. Zinedine Zidane has also expressed his admiration for Pogba in the past. But recently, rumors suggest that Juventus have also started showing interest in his signing.

While acknowledging both speculations, Sissoko feels Pogba would favor a move to his former club. But he argued that Man United would also have a say in the decision.

“I know that Zidane wants him at Real Madrid but he would like to return to Juventus,” Sissoko told Europa Calcio.

“But these are situations that depend not only on Pogba but also on Manchester United. He has a contract until 2021 with the English club.

“In my opinion, Pogba must find a team that makes him feel important in order to regain his top level.”
