Jose Mourinho looks set to offer Real Madrid Paul Pogba in return for Toni Kroos, following Pogba’s struggles at Manchester United this season

In recent weeks, Pogba has struggled for United and has been involved in public arguments with Mourinho after being benched by the Portuguese coach.

Before Pogba re-joined United from Serie A champions Juventus back in 2016 for a then world record transfer fee of £89m, the Frenchman was believed to have been also pursued by Real.

In light of their struggles this season, Real look set to invest in the squad this summer and are believed to be making several changes this summer in order to rebuild a title winning side. Pogba has been rumoured to have been a subject of interest for Real and it is believed they are keeping tabs on the situation at Old Trafford.

As reported on Don Balon, Mourinho is said to be a big fan of Kroos and would be willing to offer the La Liga side the chance to sign Pogba in exchange for the German international with the Portuguese certain that Kroos would be a valuable player for the club.
