FC Porto captain Héctor Herrera is happy with their 4-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow, but warns that they haven’t accomplished anything yet
The Portuguese champions made it three wins out of four Group D matches to put them on the brink of reaching the last-16 stage.
Herrera handed Porto a 2nd-minute lead to put them in control at the Estádio do Dragão before Moussa Marega doubled their advantage.
While Jefferson Farfán’s strike for Lokomotiv had briefly put the visitors back in contention, Jesús Corona and Otávio ensured a convincing win for Porto.
With Lokomotiv on the bring of being knocked out, however, Herrera admitted there was room for errors in the game.
“We knew it wouldn’t be an easy game as this was their last chance to react following the home defeat in the last match,” Herrera told UEFA.com.
“So we had to be focused and we were good during the match and with an early goal all was far easier”
“The team is happy for today’s result, but all is yet to be decided as we have two important matches to play and we have to be 100 per cent on both in order to reach the last 16 as it is the club’s goal in the competition.”
Group D leaders Porto will host second-place Schalke 04 in their next Champions League fixture on November 28.
